About Vaken Group
We are the Vaken Group. An organization focused on helping people who have lived with addiction in their lives awaken to a life of health and wholeness. If you have experienced life living with a person struggling with an Alcohol, Drug, or other addiction or someone who has been in recovery from addiction and looking for additional support and healing, we are here for you.

Steps to Transformation for Everyone
Awaken to the shortcomings of my egoic shell and accept the need for transformation
Find the source of wisdom, love, health in my life
Set the intention to follow this new source of life
Complete a searching and fearless, personal inventory
Confess to another human being the exact nature of my wrongs and the gifts I am responsible for bringing to maturation in my life.
Become entirely ready to have my defects of character removed
Humbly request that these defects be removed
Make a list of all people we have harmed and become willing to make amends to them all
Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.
Integrate steps one through nine as life practice
Seek through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with wisdom as we understand it, asking for knowledge of its will for us and the power to carry that out.
Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these Steps, we commit to helping those in need and practicing these principles in all our affairs.
